Divisional Controller / Investment Controller (M/F/D)

Job description

As a divisional controller / investment controller (m/f/d), you will be responsible for planning, managing and analysing business processes. You will monitor the economic development of the subsidiaries, prepare key figures and variance analyses and initiate measures for optimisation. You will also support the further development of controlling processes and ensure a transparent basis for decision-making within the company.

 

Core tasks:

  • Carrying out business planning, management and control tasks in accordance with financial and business objectives
  • Implementing new business management procedures (e.g. cost recording, standard costing) in relation to the subsidiaries and holdings
  • Developing and harmonising improvements to the procedures and monitoring and coordinating their introduction
  • Planning services (sales, inventory changes, etc.), costs (direct costs and overheads) in accordance with the production programme, investment planning, capacity planning, tariff development, etc.
  • Determining key business data on productivity, profitability, capital commitment, etc.
  • Determining deviations between target and actual values
  • Propose and coordinate measures for cost reductions

Requirements profile:

  • Required are knowledge and skills as acquired through the completion of at least 4 years of higher education and specialised knowledge through several years of specific professional experience
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as digital competence in dealing with data and figures
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, Power Point) and ideally SAP
  • Social skills and communication skills
