Up to 95 per cent less flue gas through direct extraction The measures required for collecting, extracting and filtering flue gases in robot systems often involve a great deal of effort. Large collection bonnets with curtains, complex pipe systems and a large filter unit are required to extract and clean the polluted air. When extracting directly at the welding torch, the volume of polluted air is much smaller. By using the extraction welding torch system, users have to invest significantly less in extraction technology, air ducting system and filter unit - with the same effect. A flexible hose with a small diameter replaces the complex pipe system for conveying the contaminated air to the filter unit. The smaller volume of polluted air means that a smaller filter unit is required. Another advantage: the optimised energy efficiency and minimised costs for cleaning and replacing the filter components significantly reduce operating costs.
