In mid-May 2023, a competition for young talent in the field of welding technology took place at the vocational training centre in Siegen.
Our apprentice Michael Schmoor (mechatronics technician in his 3rd year of training, left in the picture) won the competition organised by the DVS district association in Siegen. His first place qualifies him for the NRW state competition. Our apprentice Lennart Oltmanns (2nd year mechatronics technician, pictured right) achieved an excellent third place, just one percentage point behind the runner-up. We are delighted that the two budding mechatronics engineers were able to successfully beat off the competition, which consisted mainly of construction mechanics.
