HAIGER, September 2023 - At SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2023, CLOOS will present the new QIROX robot QRC-350-EO with classic wrist and 3,500 mm working area. The six-axis articulated arm robot has an eccentric axis 7, which is integrated between the robot base and the pivot point of axis 1. The robot is used in an overhead position and is mounted on a base or directly on a robot positioner. Thanks to its specially designed eccentric axis 7 for overhead applications, the robot can be optimally integrated into complex system concepts. The space required for the robot system is reduced to a minimum. The QIROX QRC-350-EO has a classic wrist on which it picks up welding and cutting torches and other work equipment weighing up to 15 kg. The integration of an interchangeable tool on the wrist enables several processes to be carried out with one robot.
