HAIGER, AUGUST 2024 - This year, 14 new trainees are starting their careers at the CLOOS Group headquarters in Haiger. On their first day in mid-August, they were warmly welcomed by the management, HR and training managers as well as the works council and received a comprehensive introduction to the company.
"The trainees of today are the skilled workers of tomorrow. It is our aim to support and encourage them in the best possible way on this path," said Andreas Schmelzer, Head of Industrial-Technical Training at CLOOS. "We wish them every success and enjoyment for their start at CLOOS."
The new apprentices are spread across various training professions: four electronics technicians for industrial engineering, five mechatronics technicians, one industrial clerk, two industrial mechanics, one technical product designer and one IT specialist are starting their careers at CLOOS.
Every year, CLOOS organises an introductory week with a varied programme to get them in the mood for their training. This year, the programme included a hike to Donsbach Zoo. Another excursion went to the Biggesee lake in Olpe, where team-building games strengthened co-operation and mutual trust. A special highlight was the "Olympics". The trainees competed against each other in two teams in exciting disciplines such as archery, climbing and canoeing, putting their skills to the test.
CLOOS attaches great importance to sound and practice-orientated training in order to optimally prepare the specialists of tomorrow for their professional future. The company offers trainees numerous opportunities for personal and professional development. "Our new apprentices are embarking on a promising future at CLOOS," emphasises Dunja Fiedler, Head of Commercial Training at CLOOS. "We focus on practical and versatile training that opens up all the opportunities for a successful career."
