Trainees and dual students successfully complete exams

HAIGER, June 2023 - One commercial and six industrial/technical apprentices successfully completed their training at CLOOS in the first half of 2023: Mike Bese (cutting machine operator), Tahir Er (cutting machine operator), Tom Herold (mechatronics technician), Marc-Collin Kegler (industrial clerk), David Schmoor (electronics technician for industrial engineering), Jonathan Taxer (mechatronics technician), Marius Weber (industrial mechanic). In addition, Jannik Flach, Moritz Paul and Philipp Schmoor successfully completed their dual Bachelor's degree programmes in electronics, mechanical engineering and computer engineering in January.

Excellent support and high level of training
The training of skilled labour is a high priority for CLOOS. From mid-August, 15 trainees will start at CLOOS in the professions of electronics technician for industrial engineering, mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, cutting machine operator, technical product designer, warehouse logistics specialist and industrial clerk. All trainees and graduates are taken on by CLOOS in various departments or start a dual study programme. "As a high-tech company, we need highly trained specialists," emphasises Andreas Schmelzer, Head of Industrial-Technical Training. "That's why we support and encourage the young people in the best possible way, which is also reflected in the excellent examination results every year."

CLOOS offers in-house tuition, intensive exam preparation and numerous training and further education opportunities. The LehrePlus concept, for example, gives young people with an intermediate school-leaving certificate the opportunity to obtain their university entrance qualification at the same time as completing their apprenticeship. The extensively equipped CLOOS training workshop offers trainees optimal conditions for realising their own technical projects.

Co-operation with schools and universities
CLOOS co-operates with numerous schools and universities in the region and beyond in order to raise the overall level of training for skilled workers. For more than 15 years, CLOOS has been offering the dual study programme StudiumPlus together with the Technical University of Central Hesse (THM).

The commercial schools in Dillenburg use a CLOOS robot cell for various robot training courses and training programmes. An interdisciplinary team of CLOOS trainees designed and assembled the modular QIROX Robot Factory robot system completely independently.
