Plasma Cut
Plasma Cut - Ideal for robot applications
In plasma cutting, the electric arc generates a plasma jet that is strongly constricted by a special nozzle and focussing gas. The high thermal energy of the arc and the high kinetic energy of the additionally supplied plasma gas melt the material and force the molten material out of the kerf. The process is characterised by a particularly narrow heat-affected zone, very good cutting quality and a high cutting speed. Thanks to the low heat input, component distortion is reduced to a minimum. Plasma Cut is very easy to automate.
