Cold Weld
Energy-reduced pulsed alternating current arc with optimally controllable heat input
Due to the controllable heat input, Cold Weld is ideal for demanding materials in the thin sheet metal sector. During the negative current phase, the AC arc draws heat from the weld pool and forms a droplet at the end of the welding wire. In the positive current phase, the heat is directed into the weld pool and the droplet passes into it without contact. The controllable ratio between the introduction and extraction of heat allows you to create an arc that can be optimally adjusted to the requirements of heat-sensitive materials.
