Complex production line for high-tech tractor cabins

Fendt is the high-tech brand of the AGCO Corporation, one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers of tractors and agricultural machinery. When welding safety cabs for tractors, the company relies on welding technology from CLOOS. The welding station consists of two 7-axis robots mounted on a vertical lift and each equipped with a torch changing system. Control Weld ensures a low-spatter welding process without time-consuming reworking. After changing the tool, the threaded studs are welded for subsequent assembly of the electric cables. The workpiece positioner with horizontal rotary movement brings the cabin into an optimum welding position. The floor conveyor is used for automated loading of the welding station.
