Kuhn opts for new QIROX QRH-280-6 welding robot

Compact, fast and highly dynamic: Kuhn S.A. has been relying on automated welding technology from CLOOS for more than 30 years. The agricultural machinery specialists recently put the new QIROX QRH-280-6 welding robot from CLOOS into operation at their French headquarters in Saverne. As the centrepiece of a CLOOS compact cell, the new robot has been welding various small parts for Kuhn's agricultural machinery since summer 2015. The new welding robot stands out due to its compact design, which saves production space on the one hand and ensures excellent accessibility in fixtures on the other. The welding robot is particularly fast and highly dynamic. Overall, Kuhn was able to reduce the cycle times for welding small parts for agricultural machinery by 15 per cent.
