Modernisation of robot system at SAF-HOLLAND

As a leading manufacturer of chassis-related assemblies and components for trailers, trucks and buses, SAF-HOLLAND relies on modern production with reliable machines. At the Bessenbach site, the company has therefore recently successfully modernised an older welding system from CLOOS. The robots had been reliably welding brake lining carriers for lorry drum brakes since 1998. The CLOOS retrofit and the use of two new QIROX welding robots have further increased the availability of the system.
