Tactile sensors

The tactile sensor works using the electromechanical sensing principle. The search routine takes place before welding. The contact points make it possible to calculate the difference between the programmed and actual position of the weld seam and are used to adjust the coordinates of the programmed weld seam. The gas nozzle of the welding torch, the welding wire or a stylus attached to the robot holder serve as the system's sensor.
